| Matthew 7:13 (msg) says, "Don't look for shortcuts to God. The Market is
flooded with surefire, easygoing formulas for a successful life that can be practiced in your spare time. Don’t
fall for that stuff, even though crowds of people do. The way to life –to God- is vigorous and requires total
attention". The mission of DEFINED is to "define" the narrow path and take it! This ministry is specifically designed for those between the ages of 18 and 35. We generally meet for activities such as home groups, café services, bible studies, and enjoy different trips throughout the year. Home Group Every other Thursday night we meet at a different home for a time of fellowship, food, and games. Each home group starts at 6:00 p.m. and ends at around 8:30 p.m. This is an awesome time of getting to know other young adults within the church, and offers a relaxed atmosphere where friendships and accountability can be formed. Café Service One Saturday night a month we meet in The Mix (the church cafÉ) for a service. This service is geared towards young adults and offers a unique coffee house inspired feel. Cokes, coffee, and a variety of finger foods and sweets are served FREE of charge. Each service begins at 7:00 p.m. with a time of fellowship followed by some acoustic worship and message from a guest speaker. Bible Study Every Fall and Spring we have an 8 week Bible study. During the 8 week period we meet every Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m. We offer one group for the women and one group for the men in order to meet the needs of each group. |
