Hope for the Journey is the weekly television broadcast for First Assembly of God. The hour long program is a mixture of Praise and Worship and a dynamic sermon by Pastor Al. Our Sunday morning services are recorded and mixed into the hour long program format and broadcast the week after the service was taped.
Program Times
Thursdays 8:00 PM (Channel 23, El Dorado Suddenlink Cable)
Sundays 8:00 AM (Channel 23, El Dorado Suddenlink Cable)
Hope for the Journey is viewed by many in the community and we get a lot of responses saying how much of a blessing the program is to them. Our elderly that are not able to attend the services can still be a part of what God is doing. And many from other churches visit our services via the broadcast.
The program also provides an opportunity for media saavy members to be involved in this ministry. Our thanks to those who participate on a regular basis, sacrificing their time to make this possible. Terri Alexis, Todd McKnight, Keith Michaels, David York, Larry Wood, Shawn Bates and others put in many hours of time to capture the energy of the service. Denton Ashcraft directs the post production duties to make the show air ready.
If you would like to participate in this crucial ministry to the community in either the pre-production (in service recording), or the post production phase, please see Keith Alexis, Denton Ashcraft or Pastor Greg Tucker.
